Spike in stomach viruses observed

An increase in the number of Norovirus cases has been observed here in Central Illinois.

The contagious condition, often referred to as “stomach flu,” can result in diarrhea and vomiting.

Cleaning surfaces with bleach is recommended along with washing hands often, in order to keep the virus at bay.
