Semi rolls over in Woodford Co. crash

The Woodford County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a two-vehicle crash involving a semi and Jeep SUV, which occurred late last week on U.S. Route 24.

Chief Deputy Dennis Tipsword reports the accident occurred a mile east of Eureka Friday and initial reports indicate the westbound Jeep crossed the center line and struck the eastbound semi at the semi drive tires causing the semi to roll over.

Both drivers were taken to local hospitals for their injuries and the accident remains under investigation.
