Procession planned for Burke

A private funeral for immediate family of former Livingston County Coroner Michael Burke is planned for Tuesday morning at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Pontiac.

Following services, a procession will travel east on Howard Street toward Billet Road where area emergency service agencies will be on hand to pay last respects as the procession leaves the church. The City of Pontiac says to expect some traffic disruption along the route.

According to the city, the public may pay respects by lining up along Howard Street around 11:30 a.m.
