P2D2 take-back program continues

The National Prescription Pill and Drug Disposal Program, also known as P2D2, continues to grow.

Started by students at Pontiac Township High School years ago, the program disposes of unwanted medication and prescription drugs. Items accepted include all prescription pills, vitamins, liquid medicine and parphernalia such as miscellaneous drug articles.

Drop off locations locally include the Livingston County Sheriff's Office in Pontiac, Pontiac Police Department, Dwight Police Department, Fairbury Police and Illinois State Police Troop 5 on Old Airport Road in Pontiac.
