Ongoing investigation for rural crash

PONTIAC – An investigation is still ongoing into a fatal crash in rural Livingston County’s Eppards Point Township last week.

The Livingston County Sheriff’s office responded to 1300 North and 1700 East roads for a crash May 11 around 11:40 a.m. Police say the vehicle was traveling west before losing control and later overturning, coming to rest in a creek.

The driver, Jessica Casey of Odell, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Livingston County Coroner’s Office. Other assisting agencies included Pontiac Fire and Pontiac EMS.
