One dead in McLean Co. crash

One person has died following a crash on Route 150 near Downs in McLean County.

Coroner Dr. Kathy Yoder says Stanley M. Miller, 62, of Crystal Lake was pronounced dead on the scene Monday night just west of McLean County Road 2325 East. Preliminary autopsy results indicate Miller died from multiple blunt injuries due to the automobile collision.

Miller was reportedly the driver and sole occupant of the car which lost control, left the roadway and crashed. Officials say he was wearing a seatbelt and toxicology tests are pending.

The incident remains under investigation by the McLean County Coroner’s Office and Illinois State Police.
