One dead in Iroquois County wreck

A 77-year-old man from Cissna Park has died and an Ashkum woman was injured after a crash in Iroquois County this week.

Rodney Windhorn was reportedly driving a vehicle that struck Rhonda Kollmann’s van. Kollman was hospitalized while Windhorn was pronounced dead at the scene by authorities.

The crash, which occurred near Watseka at 16 Hundred East and 19 Hundred North roads, is under investigation.
