More restrictions announced this week
Gov. J.B. Pritzker announced over the weekend that Region 2 of the state will join every other region of Illinois under resurgence mitigations starting this Wednesday, Nov. 4.
This means there is no indoor service for bars with patrons having to be seated at outside tables. For restaurants, there is no indoor dining or bar service and all outdoor dining closes at 11 p.m.
When it comes to meetings, social events and gatherings, there is a limit to lesser of 25 guests or 25 percent of overall room capacity, no party buses and casinos close at 11 p.m. Meanwhile, Region 6 restrictions start today (Monday).
