More released on fatal wreck

ELLSWORTH – More information has been released on a fatal wreck which occurred at Ellsworth earlier this week.

The McLean County coroner and sheriff report Daniel E. Engler, 40, of Bloomington was pronounced dead at 7:30 p.m. Monday near roads 2675 East and 1000 North. Engler reportedly died of positional asphyxia and blunt injuries of the neck to due to the automobile crash.

Officials say Engler was seat belted and driving the car which lost control on a gravel road, left the road and overturned.

The incident remains under investigation.
