'Misery' coming to The Eagle

A thrilling production director by Angie McKenzie is coming to the Eagle Performing Arts & Conference Center in Pontiac April 10-13.
“Misery” will be presented by the Vermillion Players. The fast-paced, suspenseful show will keep the audience hooked from start to finish. The play was written by William Goldman and based on the novel by Stephen King.
“Misery” tells the story of Paul Sheldon, a famous author who is taken in by Annie Wilkes after a car accident. She claims to be his “number one” fan but as Paul soon realizes, Annie is far from the friendly fan she seems – her obsession with his books takes a dark and dangerous turn.
The thriller stars Kalli Verdun, Anthony Gullo and Kyle Schiebert.

Vermillion Players is an amateur theatre troupe based in Pontiac which relies on the talent throughout Livingston County. They have been providing quality live theatre for Pontiac and the surrounding areas for 50 seasons.
