Man shot in Normal
NORMAL – Police in Normal are investigating an attempted murder in the area of College Park Drive and Hancock Drive Tuesday night.
Officers from the Normal Police Department and Illinois State University responded to the area for a report of someone being shot. When police arrived, they found an adult male victim with a gunshot wound, who was conscious and lying in the roadway. The victim was transported to Carle BroMenn Medical Center for treatment.
“No one else was injured in this incident and detectives are investigating the possibility of a targeted attack on the victim,” said a news release from Normal Police.
