Man identified after wreck

The Livingston County Coroner’s Office has positively identified the body of a man through dental records after a fatal crash involving a train back on January 21.

Coroner Danny Watson reports Thomas L. Vaughn of Elwood, 40, was driving a Jeep Renegade north on Road 3300 East when he failed to stop at a railroad crossing in Round Grove Township at 32584 North 3300 East.

A westbound train was passing through at the time, according to Watson.
