Livingston County Arrests: 8-14-24

The following arrests were announced by the Livingston County Jail in Pontiac.

Jeffery Sidwell, 33, of Danville was arrested by Fairbury Police for indecent solicitation of a child, traveling to meet a child and sex offender registration – failure to register.

Carlos Strickland, 19, of St. Louis was arrested by State Police for unlawful use of a weapon, knowingly manufacture, deliver, sell, import or purchase or cause to be manufactured, delivered, sold imported or purchased by another, an assault weapon, assault weapon attachment, .50 caliber rifle or .50 caliber cartridge and defacing identification marks of firearm.

Jared Weiss, 35, of Streator was arrested by Streator Police for domestic battery.

Tyson Wellington, 69, of Chicago was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle.

Jardyn Williams, 22, of St. Louis was arrested by State Police for defacing identification marks of firearm, unlawful use of a weapon, knowingly possessing an assault weapon, assault weapon attachment, .50 caliber rifle or .50 caliber cartridge and knowing manufacture, deliver, sell, import or purchase or cause to be manufactured, delivered, sold, imported or purchased by another an assault weapon, assault weapon attachment, .50 caliber rifle or .50 caliber cartridge.
