Livingston Co. 4-H Show starts July 17



The annual Livingston County 4-H Show is just around the coroner and everyone is invited to stop by the event July 17-20 to support dedicated 4-H members.


Hard work and achievements of youth are showcased at 4-H Park near Pontiac during this time. They have invested their time and talents in various projects throughout the year. A variety of shows and activities will be featured.


This includes the general project show with judging ongoing throughout the week along with sheep, dairy, goats, dogs, swine, rabbits, pheasant and quail, horses, beef, poultry, cats, master showmanship along with ag games.


In addition to these events, the 4-H food stand will be open daily offering snow-cones, soda, water and popcorn.


“From the colorful displays of general projects to the excitement of the livestock shows, there is something for everyone to enjoy,” said Alcha Corban, 4-H Youth Development Educator, University of Illinois Extension.
