Holiday window exhibit featured
From the curators of Life in the Forties, Life on the Titanic, Music of the Civil War, Nine Days in April, and many other exhibits throughout Central Illinois comes Costumes and Characters of A Christmas Carol – a window exhibit at the Pontiac Oakland Automobile Museum located at 205 N. Mill Street. Ron Selle and Darlene Agner have brought the story to life with 11 beautifully dressed characters in authentic Victorian clothing.
This window exhibit is the jumping off point for our A Christmas Carol Holiday Story Trail. After viewing the exhibit, you and your family can read the story for yourselves with one page on display at 12 stops throughout the downtown area. Each page is 24”x24”, beautifully illustrated, and features language perfect for all ages to understand. The pages are mounted on exterior windows making it a great outdoor activity this holiday season. Directions to the next stop are located under each page or you can pick up maps inside every location.
For more information call 815-844-5847 or go to VisitPontiac.org. Both the exhibit and story trail will remain on display into January 2021.
