Historical Society meets Feb. 15

The next meeting of the Livingston County Historical Society is set for Thursday, Feb. 15 at 7 p.m. in the Strevell House, 401 W. Livingston Street in Pontiac.

Society President Dale C. Maley will be the guest speaker, telling the story of Abraham Lincoln and the Nettleton and Strevell families that lived in the Strevell House.

Those attending do not need to be members of the Historical Society and the meetings are free and open to the general public. Light refreshments will be served following the meeting.
