Ft. Jesse Imaging and the Gale Keeran Center for Women have provided some new equipment for the Health Sciences division at Heartland Community College.

Working with the Heartland Community College Foundation, Ft. Jesse Imaging donated a GE Ultrasound Machine, complete with probe accessories, to the Heartland Community College (HCC) Radiography Program.

“We are extremely grateful for community partners like Ft. Jesse Imaging for their generous donation of an ultrasound machine to our radiography program,” said Dean of Health Sciences Kelly Pyle. “Support like this plays a crucial role in enhancing the educational opportunities for our healthcare students and improves hands-on learning, so that our students are better prepared to enter the healthcare workforce.”

Prior to this donation, Heartland’s Radiography program did not have ultrasound equipment, as its primary focus is Radiology/X-ray. The donation of the ultrasound machine will provide the Health Sciences Department and Radiography Program with opportunities to explore future growth in sonography.
