Fatal wreck on I-55 near Bloomington

A 49-year-old Lincoln man died after his automobile was struck by multiple semi-trucks on northbound I-55 in McLean County near Bloomington Tuesday.

Julio Antunez was pronounced dead at the scene and died from multiple blunt injuries. Toxicology tests are pending.

The incident remains under investigation by the McLean County Coroner’s Office and Illinois State Police.
