Fatal workplace accident at Johnson Press

An injured worker was pronounced dead early Tuesday following a workplace accident at Johnson Press of America in the 800 block of north Court Street in Pontiac.

The worker, Timothy Legner, 36, of Pontiac was transported to St. James Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased, according to a news release from Livingston County Coroner Michael E. Renner.

Details surrounding the accident have not been released and the incident is under investigation by the coroner, Pontiac Police and OSHA.
