Fatal motorcycle crash in McLean County

A 28-year-old Normal man was pronounced dead this week after a traffic crash at the intersection of Center and Bissell streets in Bloomington.

Devin C. Williams was pronounced deceased in the emergency department of Carle BroMenn Medical Center on Tuesday.  

McLean County Coroner Dr. Kathleen Yoder said Williams died from multiple blunt injuries due to a motorcycle and pickup truck collision, reportedly sustained as the driver and sole occupant of the motorcycle that struck the side of a truck.

Toxicology tests are pending and the incident remains under investigation by the Bloomington Police Department, McLean County Coroner’s Office and McLean County Accident Reconstruction Team.
