Events play vital role in supporting club

Two upcoming events play an important role in supporting the mission of the Boys & Girls Club of Livingston County.

The first is the annual golf outing scheduled for Saturday, June 22 at the Oaks at River’s Edge in Pontiac. This includes friendly competition, food and opportunities to win prizes. Participation contributes directly to supporting children in area communities.

The other big summer event is the 31st annual duck race and back-to-school bash on Saturday, August 10. The family-friendly event is packed with entertainment, games, food and the thrilling race.

All proceeds from these events go directly toward funding programs and services for the Boys & Girls Club, including academic support, mentorship, leadership development and recreational activities.
