Customers find shuttered KFC locations

Apparently, there are no longer “real meals to go” as the drive-thru sign reads at the Pontiac KFC restaurant location as a number of KFC locations around Illinois have closed.

An employee was spotted walking inside the Pontiac location earlier this week as boxes were stacked on tables and the lights were off.

Other locations with restaurants which have shut down include Rockford, Springfield and Peoria. A sign was posted on the door of some locations which said they “understand the news may come as a surprise, but we feel it is the right decision for us at this time.”
