Brady claims cross country championship

Heartland Community College sophomore Nora Brady is the NJCAA Division II National Champion in Cross Country 5K.

Brady captured the title with a time of 17:34.60 at the NJCAA D II National Championship Cross Country meet held at Pole Green State Park in Richmond, VA on Nov. 9.

Brady, a graduate of Central Catholic High School in Bloomington, bested her second place finish from the 2023 National Champion meet.

Brady is in the Nursing program at Heartland and plans to transfer to continue her studies upon completing her Associate’s Degree in May.
