Hard to believe the Pontiac High School boys basketball team starts another season this week as they travel to the Dean Riley "Shootin' the Rock" Thanksgiving Tournament at Ottawa Township High School.

We will have complete coverage here on your broadcast home for Pontiac Indian Boys Basketball all season long, Eye on Central Illinois (via Facebook live). If you haven't already, become a fan of the Eye on Central Illinois page. Our broadcast team of Mark Myre, Tim Scott, Jake Green and Ben Maier travel with the Indians all winter to bring you the action. It's all part of the Casson Media High School Sports Network, presented by Brandt and Bank of Pontiac.

"It's been a great week and a half of practice already, so we are excited for everything coming this season," said Pontiac head coach Matt Kelley during our live sports show at Bob & Ringo's Grill & Smokehouse this week.

Coach Kelley looks forward to what his seniors can do this year and believes sharing the basketball is huge.

"To have success, you have to not really care who scores."

The seniors have been through the ropes and know what it takes to win after their experiences last year. According to Kelley, they all have the same objective to win the game.

Here is the schedule for this week's Ottawa tournament:

Monday 11-20 vs. Marengo at 5 p.m.

Tuesday 11-21 vs. Ottawa at 6:30 p.m.

Friday 11-24 vs. Princeton 5:30 p.m.

Saturday 11-25: TBA
