Man dies in motorcycle wreck

The McLean County Coroner’s Office has released more information surrounding a motorcycle fatality which occurred earlier this week.

Authorities were notified of a death on southbound Rivian Parkway and Route 150 late Tuesday night. Kyle P. Casey, 23, of Normal was pronounced dead at the scene. Coroner Kathy Yoder said Casey died of blunt injuries due to a motorcycle striking a delivery van.

Toxicology tests are pending and the incident remains under investigation by the McLean County Coroner’s Office and Illinois State Police. Other agencies assisting at the scene included the McLean County Sheriff and Normal Fire Department.
