Traffic light out on Veterans

Motorists beware: traffic lights will be flashing red, possibly for a few days, on Veterans Parkway and Jumer Drive in Bloomington.

Officials expect to receive an abnormal amount of calls related to the issue which is why they are sharing the information with the public. Social media posts will be updated when the traffic lights are fixed.

With the flashing red lights only, right-of-way rules apply. Replacement parts have been ordered for the traffic light which sustained a major lightning strike this week.
