Motorcyclist dies after wreck

A 45-year-old Bloomington man has died after a motorcycle accident in Bloomington over the weekend.

McLean County Coroner Dr. Kathy Yoder reports Austin D. Roof, 45, was pronounced dead early Saturday. Preliminary autopsy findings indicate Roof died of multiple blunt injuries after his motorcycle struck a fixed object.

Toxicology tests are pending and the incident remains under investigation by the McLean County Coroner’s Office and Bloomington Police.
