Man arrested for meth possession

Bloomington Police have arrested a Peoria Heights man for delivery of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, and possessing 200 or more grams of the drug.

Richard S. Bjorling, 52, was arrested without incident in his vehicle in the 1900 block of West Market Street. A search warrant was obtained for his vehicle which resulted in the seizure of approximately 232.5 grams (.51 pounds) of methamphetamine.

Bjorling is being held at the McLean County Jail and no bond information was available.
