Pedestrian struck by car

GRIDLEY – The McLean County Coroner’s Office and Illinois State Police are investigating an incident involving a pedestrian hit by a car in Gridley, on Route 24 near the intersection of Ford Street.

The Coroner’s Office was notified of the death at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center’s emergency room on Tuesday morning. An autopsy was scheduled and the victim’s name was not immediately released until family was notified.
