Large party in downtown Pontiac

PONTIAC – Pontiac Police were assisted by the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department and State Police in responding to a large party in the downtown area Saturday morning.

Shortly before 1 a.m., authorities received information that a large group was headed to Pontiac to party at an Air BnB rental space. Several hundred people were in the downtown creating a disturbance around 2 a.m. according to police. The rental was terminated and the large group left without incident other than leaving some trash in the area.

The rental property owner did not file a criminal complaint.
