More released on LeRoy wreck

The McLean County coroner and sheriff have released more information on a fatal accident which occurred northeast of LeRoy Thursday.

Pronounced dead was Ryan Ploense, 36, of LeRoy. Preliminary autopsy results indicate Ploense’s death was caused by head and spinal injuries due to an automobile crash. He was reportedly the sole occupant and driver of the vehicle which lost control, left the roadway and crashed into a field resulting in ejection.

Toxicology tests are pending and the incident remains under investigation.
