Campus man faces federal charges


CAMPUS – A 21-year-old Campus man has been arrested after being charged by the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Chicago for transportation of child pornography.

Livingston County Sheriff Tony Childress reports an ongoing investigation led to a search warrant and the arrest of Dakota John Michael Flint, who was taken into custody without incident, according to the sheriff’s office.

The investigation is ongoing and authorities believe additional charges are possible. Numerous items were seized from Flint’s residence for further analysis. Flint was taken to the Livingston County Jail in Pontiac where he is being held without bond on the felony federal charges. He will have a hearing in U.S. Federal Court at Peoria.
