Hodge:

Robert Dan Hodge, 91, Chenoa, passed away at 6:48 am, Friday, May 1, 2020 at Liberty Village, Clinton.

Cremation rites have been accorded with a graveside inurnment at 1pm, Saturday, May 9, 2020 in the Chenoa Township Cemetery, Chenoa, with Pastor’s Timothy Moats and Marty Fannin officiating. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family of Robert D. Hodge.

Robert was born December 16, 1928 in Knoxville, TN; the son of George and Nellie (Luttrell) Hodge. He married Loretta M. McCoy on January 6, 1950 in Tennessee. His wife, Loretta survives in Liberty Village, Clinton. His parents, two brothers, Ed and Bill Hodge, one son, Danny Hodge and one granddaughter, Rachel Fearnow preceded him in death.

Other survivors include his children, Sandra Hodge of Santa Cruz, CA; Bob (Toni) Hodge of Kuna, ID; Yvonne (Michael) Jenkins of Bloomington; Rebecca (Mike) DeVoss of Phoenix, AZ; two brothers, Jack (Linda) Hodge of Sevierville, TN; Ronald (Dixie) Houser of Chenoa; eleven grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.

Bob served our country in the US Army during the Korean War. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, golf and traveling with the love of his life, Loretta. He was an avid Cub fan.

He loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus; and served him in many different capacities including Missionary work in India. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Shrewsbury:

The much-anticipated arrival of our baby has become a devastating, heartfelt loss when our sweet boy, Henry Michael Shrewsbury, was born asleep in the arms of the Lord at 1:39 am, Saturday, May 2, 2020. He was 7 lbs., 5 oz., and 21 inches long.

Private funeral Mass has been held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Pontiac, with a private family burial at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Pontiac. Pallbearers were his godparents, Trevor Runyon and Kacie Haag.

Henry Michael was born the son of Tyler Jared and Brooke Kiley Haag Shrewsbury. He had two gray four legged siblings, Loki and Ash anxiously awaiting his arrival at home in Graymont.

He leaves behind a family who loves him and will hold him in their hearts forever; maternal grandparents, Michael and Trisha Haag; paternal grandparents, John and Linda Shrewsbury; maternal great-grandparents, Dewaine and Marie Haag and Rebecca Sprandel; paternal great-grandmother, Faye Thorne; aunts and uncles, Kacie Haag, Kaleb Nelson, Tricia and Andrew Alsdorf, Brian and Raven Landstrom, Lori Landstrom and Brenda and Mario Rios and many great-aunts and uncles and cousins.
