Virtual graduation for Heartland

Heartland Community College in Normal will hold spring commencement ceremonies online to virtually recognize the achievements of 2020 graduates.

The virtual commencement is scheduled for Friday, May 15 starting at 6:30 p.m. through an online stream broadcast. President Keith Cornille will provide remarks along with the Board of Trustees chairman and a student speaker. Graduating students will be able to submit photos to be included in the ceremony.

During the event, special recognition will be given by groups like Phi Theta Kappa, HALO and Adult Education. Plus, the Distinguished Alumni award winner will be announced. More information on the ceremony will be posted at www.heartland.edu in early May.
