Players season cancelled in Pontiac

The Vermillion Players summer season has been cancelled in Pontiac and the organization made the following announcement last week.

“With the health and well-being of our patrons, volunteers, actors, and audiences at the forefront of our minds, the Vermillion Players board of directors has made the difficult decision to postpone our summer season. We are not cancelling these performances; we are simply moving them forward a year to be presented in the summer of 2021.

We hope to return to our regular performances at the Eagle Performing Arts and Conference Center this fall and will be using this time to work on our skills as theatrical artists and to strengthen our programming.

You, our volunteers, actors, patrons, and audience members are what make up the heart of Vermillion Players and we cannot wait until we can make theatre with you again.

We hope you understand how hard it was to make this decision, but we know it was in the best interest of everyone. Feel free to reach out to any current board member with questions or email us at vermillionplayersinc@gmail.com.”
