First COVID-19 case for Ford Co.

Ford County’s first confirmed case of COVID-19 has been reported.

A man in his 70s has tested positive and remained hospitalized as of Monday, according to officials. The county’s public health department is trying to reach out to others who may have been in contact with the man.

All residents are encouraged to continue with preventative health measures to prevent the spread of the disease such as social distancing and staying home whenever possible.
