Woman struck by vehicle

PONTIAC – A woman from Berwyn died Thursday morning after reportedly being struck by a car north of Pontiac along Route 23.

State Police report Kenisha Hall, 25, had been walking in the northbound lane of the highway near Livingston County Road 2100 North when she was struck by a vehicle. Hall was pronounced dead at the scene by the Livingston County Coroner.

It’s not known why the woman was walking on the road when the incident happened around 4:30 a.m. Police said the driver of the vehicle involved was not ticketed.
