Illinois woman dies

An Illinois woman who tested positive for COVID-19 died.

Officials with the state’s Department of Public Health say the Chicago resident was in her 60s and tested positive earlier in the month. She died Monday at the University of Chicago Medical Center.

There have been reports of an increased number of cases at a DuPage County nursing home and a home in Willowbrook has almost 20 residents and a few staff members with COVID-19.
