Fire Department restricts visitors

Following recommendations by McLean County Health Department, Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH), and Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), to limit the spread of COVID-19, all Normal Fire Department stations will be CLOSED to visitors until further notice.

In addition to visitors, the following programs have been indefinitely suspended:

⛔ Fire Station Tours and Show & Tell Events

⛔ Public Education Events and Presentations

⛔ Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarm Installation Program

⛔ Child Passenger Seat Inspections / Installation Check Events

While these decisions are difficult, they are necessary to help limit the spread of COVID-19 virus to vulnerable and high-risk populations, and to keep our members healthy and safe to be able to provide care to those who need it.

To contact our administration office for day-to-day business, call 309-454-9613 from 8:30am-5:00pm, Monday through Friday.
