Obituary: Hereford

LeRoy – Stephen Hereford, 66, of LeRoy, passed away at 2:00pm, January 10, 2020, at Adovocate Bromenn Regional Medical Center, Normal.

Cremation has been accorded

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, January 18, 2020, at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax. Pastor Dan Jassman will be officiating.

Memorials may be made to American Lung Cancer Association.

Stephen was born June 2, 1953, in Bloomington the son of Larry K. and Carol Lee Bradford Hereford.

He married Tammy Wells on February 28, 1987. She survives.

Also surviving are his mother Carol Hereford of Colfax; son, Christopher Hereford of LeRoy; granddaughter, Ryle Fasching of Le Roy; and brothers, Brian (Cathy) Hereford and Kurt Hereford both of Colfax.

He is preceded in death by his father; daughter, Bobbi Hereford; brother, Kent Hereford; and sister, Julie VanNote.

Stephen was a computer operator for American Express and IBM. He was a member of the Colfax Christian Church. Stephen was the most wonderful husband, son, dad, grandpa and brother. His very generous and caring spirit will be missed by all.
