Wreck claims life of Flanagan man

FLANAGAN – An early morning accident this week has claimed the life of a Flanagan man.

Timothy F. McKinley, 30, was pronounced dead at the scene by Livingston County Coroner Danny Watson on Wednesday. Authorities say McKinley’s black GMC pickup truck left the road and struck a tree. The single-vehicle wreck was reported to Vermilion Valley Dispatch at 7:43 a.m. a mile south of Route 116 on 300 East at 1600 North Road in Livingston County’s Nebraska Township.

Responding agencies included Livingston County Sheriff’s Police, Flanagan-Graymont Fire, Duffy Ambulance and the Livingston County Coroner’s Office. An autopsy has been ordered by Watson.
