Fatal wreck near Arrowsmith

ARROWSMITH – A Bloomington woman died as the result of a semi-tractor trailer versus passenger vehicle accident Sunday afternoon near Arrowsmith.

McLean County Coroner Kathy Yoder says Ami J. Wicks, 42, was pronounced dead at 2:40 p.m. and preliminary autopsy findings indicate Wicks died from multiple blunt injuries due to the collision. Wicks was reportedly the driver of the car involved.

Toxicology tests are pending and the incident remains under investigation by the McLean County Coroner and Sheriff’s Department.
