Cabery man dies in wreck

A fatal wreck earlier this week claimed the life of a 51-year-old man from Cabery.

Livingston County Coroner Danny Watson says Ronald E. Hoegger was the driver of 1998 GMC Sierra extended cab pickup truck when he lef the road and hit a bridge with concrete guard rails at 3450 East and 2500 North in Livingston County’s Broughton Township.

Hoegger was pronounced dead at the scene by the coroner. Due to a fire associated with the wreck, an autopsy was performed and Hoegger was identified using dental and surgical records, according to Watson.

Autopsy results indicated Hoegger died on impact.
