Pontiac woman dies in weekend crash
PONTIAC – A single-vehicle accident has claimed the life of a Pontiac woman.
The woman, whose name has not been released, was pronounced dead on the scene over the weekend. An autopsy has been scheduled and the incident occurred approximately one-half mile south of Illinois Route 116 and Old Route 66, according to the Livingston County Coroner, Danny Watson.
Agencies assisting at the scene included: Pontiac Police, Livingston County Sheriff’s Police, Duffy Ambulance, Pontiac Fire, Illinois State Police, State Police Reconstruction Unit and the Livingston County Coroner’s office.
