Woman ejected from vehicle
The driver involved in a Woodford County crash early Friday morning was cited by State Police for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while license suspended, illegal transportation, improper lane usage, no insurance, failure to wear a seat belt and improper use of registration.
Kanisha C. King, 35, of Peoria was reportedly driving a silver 2006 Honda Acura north on Illinois Route 26 just south of Hoffman Road in Woodford County when the car traveled off the roadway for unknown reasons and ejected King. She was transported to OSF St. Francis Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries, according to State Police.
