Man arrested for stabbing incident
On Tuesday, July 30 at 7:30 p.m., Bloomington Police officers were dispatched to Saint Joseph's Medical Center to speak with a victim of a stabbing.
Officers spoke with the adult male victim who had severe, but non-life threatening injuries. It was reported that the victim was stabbed by a roommate after an argument inside of their home in the 900 block of Witten Woods Drive.
The Bloomington Police Department's Street Crimes Unit located the suspect near the intersection of Madison Street near Gray Street.
The suspect was arrested without incident. Arrested was Xavier R. Brown, 20, of Bloomington for Aggravated Domestic Battery. Brown was transported to the McLean County Jail. Brown's bond is $150,000 - 10% to apply.
