Two arrested for unlawful delivery

PONTIAC – The Pontiac Narcotics unit has arrested two people for unlawful delivery of prescription drugs.

During the arrest of Michelle McDonald and Gilbert Edwards, the unit seized several types of prescriptions along with miscellaneous drug paraphernalia and several empty medication bottles which were recently filled. Authorities also destroyed four cannabis plant sprouts.

Both McDonald and Edwards were transported to the Livingston County Jail this week pending their court hearings. Units assisting the Pontiac officers included: Dwight Narcotics, Livingston County Proactive Unit, Trident Drug Unit, Livingston County State’s Attorney, Pontiac Police patrol and Livingston County investigations and patrol.
