Celebrate Route 66 in Pontiac

The Eagle Performing Arts and Conference Center of Pontiac is excited to host Uke 66, a ukulele duo from Springfield, MO as part of this year’s Red Carpet Corridor Celebration on May 4.

They are the perfect complement to this year’s festival as they named themselves after the iconic mother road. As part of the festivities they will be offering a Learn-to-Play Ukulele workshop from 2:00-4:00 at the Eagle and a concert at 7:00 that night. Those interested in the workshop must pre-register, however owning a ukulele is not a pre-requisite, the group will have ukuleles on-site to borrow. Participation in the workshop will also get you into the concert and even onstage if you so desire.

Tickets are on sale now for this one day only event. Participation in the workshop is $15 and concert tickets are $5 each but no more than $20 per family if purchased in advance. Concert tickets will increase the day of the show to $8 each.

Tickets for both the workshop and concert can be purchased by calling 815-844-1187 or visiting www.PontiacEagle.com.
