BroMenn parking garage death probed

NORMAL – Authorities in Normal are investigating the death of a man at the BroMenn parking garage near the corner of Franklin and Virginia Avenue.

Upon arrival, police noticed a man lying unresponsive in a grassy area north of the garage. There were signs of severe trauma caused by the fall, however officials believe there is no indication of foul play currently. The man was pronounced dead at the scene by the McLean County Coroner’s Office.

A preliminary investigation indicates the man drove to the parking deck, left his vehicle and jumped from the third floor to his death. The case remains under investigation by Normal Police and the McLean County Coroner’s Office.
