Pontiac shocks P.C. at Fairbury

FAIRBURY - The Prairie Central lady Hawks basketball team led for much of Monday night's game against rival Pontiac at home but that lead didn't last forever.

The Hawks were ahead by as much as seven midway through the fourth quarter but Pontiac fought back. Lindsay Hunt carried the team on her shoulders in the fourth quarter with 11 points. Amanda Fox then came into the game and delivered the game-winning free throws.

Pontiac improves to 7-13 with their first victory in the Illini Prairie Conference while P.C. falls to 9-10 on the year.
